For my background, I already had one bachelor degree with Business Administration in China. I also worked for China Mobile for one and half years, but I really enjoy doing some kind of staff related to telecommunication. During that one and half years, I learnt how to set up base station, how is the signal is transfer from one base to another base, how to solve the basic telecommunication problem using the Delphi and VB, and the most best experience I got is how to work with a team.
For me, the most exciting thing about the computer science is that it’s like a real magic around our life. We do not know what is new exciting thing will bring by the computer science. It exists everywhere in our life. More and more people cannot live without the computer science.

ReplyDeleteI would like to welcome you to the CS100W class as well. I am looking forward to your future posts. Doing a technical blog is something new for me as well. However, I think it is a good idea, and a good place to start establishing your good digital footprint. I see that you already have a bachelor degree in Business related major, however, you seem to have a lot of computer related experience. I also think that computer science is an exciting field to be in. There are so many technology out there today. For example, I learn about the existance of Spring, a java framework which are helping many developers out there today. Recycling is another problem that we have to face today. Many computer components are toxic, so research and development for recycleable components is essential. However, I believe that this is more computer engineering type of field. As a computer scientist, we should be create computational algorithm which take the best advantage of the computer hardware. However, recycling aspect of computer is also an important thing that everyone should consider. I hope to see your new blog sometime soon.
